Well I's been 2 weeks, and I'm happy with the growth. Got another fawn on camera and have some bucks really starting to look nice.

Yeah they are looking good. I know it's just pictures and not showing what is really going on, but that one buck seems to have himself an attitude. I have a few shots of what appears to be him pushing the others around.

An outdoors forum I'm on has a lot of guys that hunt bear up here in NGA and they all swear the stuff is great as long and it's cared for right.

Woody's/ GON? You listen to those guys and they will have you thinking possum is fine eating.

What county are you hunting in Georgia?

Yeah that's the place, lol. They can keep the opossum. My club is in Whitfield co, and then I spend some time on Cohutta WMA in Murray/Fannin/Gilmer co's in my quest for bear.

More of the bear. Looks like a nice sized older bear.

Tried getting video this week instead of stills. I think it turned out well with these two, plus a few does added in in other clips.

Have been here recently. Few miles down the road, guy has 5 different ones on camera. Might actually try and get a bear this year.

I am about 200 miles south of you in Apison and can't ever remember seeing a bear in Hamilton Co. A couple of weeks ago, my 16-year-old came in all excited and said the car in front of her hit a bear. Glad she was paying attention and didn't rear end the other car.

The craziest thing is where it was hit... On East Brainerd Rd. about a mile east of Ooltewah Ringgold Rd intersection and less than 5 miles from Hamilton Place Mall.

They've just started to become more abundant here in the past few years. Only a few counties up here allow you to hunt them still.

There was one last year that was seen walking around in Johnson city. Actually saw it in the parking lot at work.

Hello neighbor, I'm in Hawkins county also.

Have spotted a nice buck running around my woods I'm excited about.

Haven't hunted in a couple years due to laziness, but I'm determined to bow hunt this year.

I haven't in a while, but I just bought my daughter a bow, and she's trigger happy to kill a deer.

There was one hit by a car in Red Bank maybe a year or two ago. Driver thought they'd hit a person, cops found the bear across the road with a broken jaw. It wound up getting put down, estimated it weighed at least 300. They are on Signal and in Prentice Cooper area as well.

Sounds a lot like where I'm from in DeKalb Co. In my 26 years of life you never heard of bears around here. This year we've already had two, seen one with my own eyes. One was running wild all over the county. He wasn't causing any actual trouble, but was a little too close for comfort for some. Unfortunately a local man shot and killed it. He was arrested at the time and has since went and settled his case in court. Here are two articles from our local paper about the story.
