Been to hot the past few weeks. Not much movement.

Did get a few coyotes on camera. They'll have to be taken care of.

Yeah I've noticed activity has slacked off here as well. I did get my 1st videos of coyotes as well, got a pair of them sneaking around my mineral site. like you said , that will have to be addressed.

This heat had been miserable. I'm hoping once the season starts and it cools down they start moving more.

I went up new stand and there's a damn wasp nest in it. Any idea how to kill them without traditional wasp spray? I think the smell would go away pretty quickly, but don't want to risk it.

Well first morning is in the books. No deer, but I got to watch about 8-9 quail feeding in the foodplot in front of me for about and hour.

As for your wasp problem, google homemade bug killer or something like that. I don't recall exactly but it seems like I saw something posted on FB several months ago about mixing water alcohol and vinegar or something. Don't remember exactly. I imagine something like that would dissipate quickly. Or maybe check the hardware stores for biodegradable insecticide.

My MIL leases her 35 acres to a hunter every year. These are pictures from a week ago.

I'd be guessing at a live weight around 220 lbs. Pretty nice size deer but I don't think the bucks are filled out yet.

I knew he had to be over 200lbs. for sure. My cousin killed a 14pt. buck in 2012 that weighed 255lbs. This one really doesn't look much smaller. Got you some nice meat to do you for a while as well. :good!:
