Del Rio Out vs Tennessee

Appleby is a liability...at least Treon and Driskel made plays with their legs.

Appleby is a statue with major accuracy issues.

If Appleby can manage the game @ the line and minimize mistakes, let the running game take over, Gators have a good chance of extending the streak to 12.

Gators closing practice to the media this week. I'm starting to wonder if Del Rio plays. Mac has never closed practice before.

If it's closed all week, one has to wonder if the LDR injury wasn't as severe and CJM is playing head games with CBJ.

I'll never wish injury on a kid but if Mac pulls some **** as to start LDR after saying appleby is starting then I hope Hurd falls out of bounds and hits Mac in the knee and causes a complete ACL and MCL tear

I know this sounds really naive, but doesn't there have to be some sort of repercussion for saying that your QB is absolutely out for the next game and 2-3 weeks afterward but then after closing practice all week you start him?

I wouldn't put anything past any coach but surely Del Rio isn't going to play. I can see McElwain saying all week that he's "questionable" all the while having every intention of starting him, but not definitively ruling him out and starting him anyway.

Wasn't a late hit. They called it roughing the passer because he went low.

Dirty either way. Like someone said earlier, if it was the first time, there might have been an excuse, but this is the second time this season he's targeted the knees of a QB.

Dirty is dirty. And I'd love to see that kid get smashed between a couple of angry O linemen.

Yea it was dirty. He went low on purpose. I was just clarifying that it wasn't a late hit that got flagged. Him gunning for the knees triggered the penalty.

nope. not the NFL, not professional athletes, no players union, no disclosure required. we as fans like to think that way but its not the case. and i have a hard time seeing why that should be punished. gamemanship.
