If the parts of the country start to close again because of the unvaccinated, then that affects me. At that point in time YOU BET I'll let .gov make the choice for them.

If parts of the country start to shut down again it’s the fault of the people that live there and elect baby tyrants that overstep their authority.

That was the threat last year as well but the school year here went off without a hitch.

Any gov shutting down their state should be immediately recalled

That makes sense, you've already agreed to let the government make choices for you why not everyone else? The problem is not everyone falls in line without question, some people question the status quo. Lucky for us this country was founded by the latter and not the former.

The lock downs were not very effective. Demand your government be better.

This right here is just the kind of thinking the MSM and many of the politicians want you to believe. The belief that the government is good and the dissenters are bad is how they divide us. I say all of this as someone who is vaccinated and wishes more people would get vaccinated.

People will get sick. Those who get the most sick should be aware that they are at risk. Of they choose to interact with others that's their freedom to choose. Just don't come after mine when your choices turn out negatively

He probably also lives in a state that is still debating how to open their schools while red states were in school all last year and are getting close to going back again.

Better yet big boy. Why don’t you go around and start telling people to get the vaccine. Go door to door in a little vest. See how that works out. Don’t hide behind the government to do your talking.

I may be the biggest science / research nerd on the board and also one of the most supportive of vaccination efforts, and I'll still tell you the science isn't settled (and never will be) and there are myriad factors to consider.

Talk to your doctor and make the best decision for you and your family. Different people have different needs and different qualifiers for making this decision. Blanket mandates and harsh rhetoric aren't going to have a positive outcome right now and will actually push people away from the decision.
