Delta Variant

It depends. I’ve heard more people than not say they got sick from the vaccine.

And how many people is that because I don't believe you. I dont know of a single person that has gotten sick from the vaccine. Maybe felt tired for 24 hrs but I dont consider that being sick.

Wrong, if I am not vaccinated I run the risk of being infected and spreading it to innocent people. It’s not just my family - we don’t live in a bubble, which is why I was vaccinated. Protect myself, my family, and my fellow citizen
Even with the vax you run a chance. All it does it reduce risk, not remove it.

And considering most cases are asymptomatic, which means low viral load, that means low risk. Vax or not.

He's altruistic, nothing you can do to help him.

I can also still get hurt in a car accident while wearing a seatbelt, but the chances of getting hurt go up significantly when I don’t

I don’t know man. I’d guess it’s come up in conversation with 20-25 people over the last several months. I don’t go around asking people. I’ll leave that to Biden and his lackeys. Some people have said tired, some sick, a couple said no effects. Almost all had some kind of effect though. Your belief or lack of doesn’t change anything.

From a post earlier, Israel is saying 40% of their cases since May are from vaccinated people.

So certainly a chance.

The risks posed by the vaccine are infinitesimally small and usually easily resolved. The risks posed the virus are very high and outcomes often terrible.

I just don't understand how we are still having this debate. It is utterly irrational.
Your definition of “often” is often different than mine.

Can’t imagine being in school nowadays, school or no school, masks or no masks. You are gonna have a generation of messed up kids.

Kids are more resilient than you think. Mine have been in person all year, with masks and distancing in the classroom. They've had a great time and made lots of friends. My son was even actively playing in band in group rehearsals.

But we're also heavily involved parents who come from education backgrounds. We're the outlier couple, easily.

Lol. Damn “layman’s”. Amirite? 🤣🤣😂🤣 You take every opportunity to THINK you’re more intelligent than everyone else. Surprise! You’re not.

So the vaccines are headed towards FDA approval. But wait, we need to add another dose to the JNJ version. Unreal. Just making chit up as we go.

And where have you seen that? Facebook?
Sorry to disappoint but I don’t get on Facebook. Look at what happened with NC State’s baseball team. 4 of 9 vaccinated players got it. Granted that’s a small sample but when I compare that to a small sample of families I know that caught COVID and how many people in the household got it, the numbers aren’t as different as people think. About 2 of 3 people in the same household (3 of 5 in mine) catch COVID when not vaccinated while about 2 of 5 with the vaccine catch it. I’ve seen plenty of stories and heard of plenty of vaccinated people getting the virus so it certainly doesn’t stop you from getting the virus. Maybe on a larger scale the number is close to 1 in 5 but, either way, the vaccine doesn’t prevent the virus.
