BOOM another one you are on fire today. There are seriously much better players we are in on. I have no idea how demarco cobbs was rated higher then Da'rick rogers

We don't have a shot at Rogers. He's still rock solid to UGA.

I posted this before Cobbs committed and didn't care for the commitment when he did. I didn't hate the commitment but I didn't care for it.

USC and Florida wanted nothing to do with him after they saw him in person.

But yes... having my own opinion makes me stupid and a liar. I see.

yeah i really dont care much about this loss i seen him on video playing wide out at camps and everyone else looked so much better. I really do not think he would have played a huge roll here and people wanted to kill me for thinking that.

We have plenty of wide receivers coming in.... Ambles, Meline, Milton.... I just don't care that Cobbs isn't coming. I thought he was the worst of the four anyways. Probably why he didn't want to come here because he knew it as well.

anyone think this could be a mistake? Some reporter could have confused the UT's.

That would be an EPIC FAIL.

Why would we offer and accept a commitment from someone who had no shot at contributing?

Do you think we cooled on him or not? I think he was one of the guys that we didnt call the first day we were aloud to make calls to recruits.

Meline is being recruited as a DB, and he may not even qualify.

Didn't he commit before Meline? I may be wrong but I thought he did. At that point he was competing against two other wide receivers. With the commitment from Meline, he was now competing with three.

dude once again this happens all the time in recruiting. You take a commitment and then once you can get bigger fish you back off him. There are certaintly better players out there then demarco cobbs

Who knows what happened, it will come out, hopefully he doesn't bad mouth us.

Heard that he didn't look very good at some camps that he attended, but that is neither here nor there.

Let's not act like we wouldn't like to have him on our team.

Whoever was dissing the Texas receivers, in particular Jordan Shipley, dude will be playing on Sundays. Must not be that bad.

I know Meline would prefer defense but can you show me a link that's what Tennessee is recruiting him as?

Recruiting sites list him as a wide receiver and as far as I know that's where Tennessee intends on playing him.

Like I said, you may very well be right because DB is Meline's preference. I just haven't seen anything that says DB is the position he will play. Seems like he is more likely to play wide receiver as that is his listed position. Those sites did a poor job of not making him an athlete if that's the case.

Good riddance. Slow, can't jump, just about every big time school backed off of him. On top of it, he was Vol from the start to finish and then backed out anyways. Good riddance to the unathletic headcase. Look at Texas's wide receivers. They are all slow. It's pretty bad when Shipley is your fastest and most athletic wide receiver. Texas's wide receivers have always been built that way. That's why their tight end Thomas was the number one target when they won the National Championship. Even Roy Williams in the NFL today is garbage.

Remember when you said this, "I'm still amazed by his arms. Not often you see wide receivers with arms that look like that. Even as seniors in college. This kid is a senior in high school. He is going to turn db's into pancakes."

And 20 minutes ago Demarco Cobbs was a "solid" verbal to Tennessee.

I'm not saying anything regarding Rogers because I don't know what's going on with his recruitment. It's just that the recruiting game never ceases to amaze me.

I'm not gonna let it bother me, though. We'll pick off a few big guys committed elsewhere as of now.

Yes. Now go find my post where I said he is slow and can't jump. He could run over defensive backs. I never said he is going to separate and get open.

You guys don't think this is a mistake? Because I've never heard of kids committing on Thursdays
