Demarco Cobbs DECOMMITS

Meline will probably flip too, have no faith in his commitment.

When he committed, he said that he was about 70%, it's an " as of now " commitment.

Just land Dunkley and all this is forgotten.

If he has any thoughts about playing NFL football someday then he needs to realize that the position you might want to play is not always what is best suited for you

what about kenny stills? do we got a good shot at him. he seems like he could be a burner

I think it was posted in another thread that we have cooled on him. Maybe the Cobbs decommitment will change things, or maybe not.

yeah he was a good commit(but never the number 1 ath in the country like espn says) and i didn't see this coming but i have full confidence in this staff and their recruiting ability. mark it down... with or without cobbs we will still have a top 5 class. guarantee it.

Someone better will be coming. We don't want or need anyone that is a waffler about what we are building here. His loss.

Remember when you said this, "I'm still amazed by his arms. Not often you see wide receivers with arms that look like that. Even as seniors in college. This kid is a senior in high school. He is going to turn db's into pancakes."

You mean the one two pages ago?

No. The one before he ever committed. You were so quick to find that post. Get to it. I know I said it. I flat out said Cobb's 40 time and vertical are terrible. I like how you search for a post that fits your needs but won't find the one that proves I never cared for Cobbs.

Like I said, I never said Cobbs would be a good receiver. I said he could run over defensive backs and he could. First he would have to get open.

So you meant he would be a great blocker with the pancake comment?

Am I really going to do the searching for you? No. You can get to it and prove it to me though.

No. I meant he would run people over with the ball in his hands.

I was never convinced he would get the ball enough to do it regularly though. It's obvious he would 190lbers over though when he had the chance to. I never really thought he would be a good wide receiver though. I always thought he should play safety if anything.

He never looked fast compared to the rest of the high schoolers on his film. His 40 time was awful. His vertical was just as bad.

That's just my opinion of him. I think it's obvious that someone with his size would run over someone smaller though.
