Democrats plan to introduce articles of impeachment as early as Monday

I agree with Graham, although I don't think they would go through with it.

Graham: McConnell 'put a load on Republicans' back' with anti-Trump speech
That just shows that Lindsey Graham is only thinking about McConnell's speech in terms of its political ramifications for his party. Graham admits that Trump was pushing a false narrative concerning the outcome of the presidential election, but that isn't as important to him, as doing what he thinks works best for Republicans in the mid-term elections. Doing what is right and standing on principles is never as important to Graham as political posturing. Lindsey Graham exudes weakness and subservience on so many levels. He is exactly what one would expect to see from a career Republican politician, who doubles as a deep-in-the-closet homosexual.

Republicans decry Democrats for being petty and taking the hollow step of impeaching a former president who was defeated in his last election... but then they do things such as this, which are every bit as petty and meaningless.

The Facts that Dems Didn't Want to Come Out and Why They Caved on Witnesses in Impeachment Trial

As we reported earlier, House impeachment managers wanted to call witnesses. But then when Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said he would first call House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), ask what did she know and when did she know it and start delving into all the facts that disproved their case, the Senate Democrats had a talk with the House managers and told them to back off and agree to a deal to no witnesses to get in the statement that they wanted.

No, many Republicans would have voted to censure Trump in the House and Dems could have claimed victory. Instead they've allowed Trump to leave town on a winning note. Very poor judgement on their part, but that's not surprising

That isn't true. Senate Democrats voted overwhelmingly in favor of allowing witnesses, and several Senators from the Democratic Party have expressed disappointment and confusion with why they weren't called. I saw interviews with both Tammy Duckworth and Kirsten Gillibrand on MSNBC last night where they expressed disappointment. That far right source (redstate.com) is lying.

They should make sure no money ever goes to his campaign should he seek re-election.

The same should go for those other 7 Benedict Arnold's!

dont represent the people who elected you. You represent the party first. If that lines up with your convictions then it’s a bonus.

I don't believe that for a minute. That is something they will say now... after it's over.

.... and Trump has already left town a loser. Nothing which happened yesterday changes that. The electoral college vote totals from the 2020 Presidential Election will always read:

Joe Biden 306
Donald Trump 232

Like there’s a difference in the two parties

Bill Cassidy is still in office. This is a huge stretch to try and equate this with the clown show democrats just put on

But Bill Cassidy is not a member of the Louisiana State House. A censure from a body, that he is not even a member of, is a completely hollow gesture. Why would Cassidy give a crap about this?
