NIL was definitely part of it, though you are correct that it wasn’t the biggest factor. There are lots of ways around the international player NIL restriction.

Not sure how that can be, considering Last Tear Poa of LSU has hired attorneys to fight for international players to be able to be included in NIL because she wasn't being included in all that cash down in Louisiana. Think the current rules are pretty strict.

There's a court case where in 2025 to 2026 Power 5 conferences will have 20 million dollars to divide between their student athletes.

Wasn't Mickie DeMoss the workhorse recruiter for Pat in the running Women's College Basketball Era?

I don’t know if including Samara Spencer in this conversation is valid.
Samara is one of the fastest players in the SEC with an incredible resume.
She’s transitioning very well right in Tennessee and imo setting herself with an opportunity to play in the WNBA.

Great point on Gabe Lazo… I think the same can be said for the Pauldo twins. He was recruiting them at MSST as well.

The staff hires were the first part of CKC’s success and I’m happy we’re seeing the benefits of that pay off so quickly!

When you are straight forward, real, can relate to younger generation, and you have a vision young talent see that and im sure she watched the games and practice its a fun style and coach kim has said multiple times she lets the players figure it out themselves thats enticing...and of course kudos to having 2 dynamic assistant coaches that can one identify talent and get them here on campus....not surprised kim can close the deal
