He didn't give us the ability to fly.

We have been modifying grains, crops and stock since humans began cultivating crops and domesticating animals. Everything you eat is genetically modified.

Maybe that's the problem with our overall health. 70% obesity vs 3% when JFK was in office. Think about that for a moment. Japan's obesity rate is just about the same although they love them some KFC.

The problem with our health is that we have almost completely switched to corn sweeteners from pure sugar. Which started happening during the JFK administration and the Cuba fiasco.

That's a very small part of it. GMO wheat has the same nutritional qualities as a Starbucks cup.

What does the Federal Department of Education actually do? Why are they needed? Shut it down.

My source? The kids can’t read. They can’t write. Why pour millions of tax dollars into the DOE. That money should go to USAID and be distributed to politicians.

What is a thirded-grader?

I conducted an at home experiment:

Saturday 2/8/25 @10 am, I ate 1 cup of GMO wheat.
Saturday 2/8/25 @10:45, I had the sh!*s for approx. 2.3 hours.

Monday 2/10/25 @ 10am, I ate 1 Starbucks cup.
Monday 2/10/25 @ 10:20, Nothing yet, but my belly is rumbling..... 🫣

The pushback on the elimination of the Federal Dept of Education is rooted in emotion, not reality.

Subjectivity, it’s makes more sense to allow 50 states to do it their own way. Thats 50 opportunities for someone to figure out a solid solution to the problems that got us here.

Objectively, what we’ve been doing isn’t working whatsoever, so to just keep at it is F’ing insane.

Ehhhh, science can't definitively figure out if HFCS is worse for us than sugar cane.

I would say the biggest problem is the amount of sugar/preservatives, not the type of sugar.

More over before teh dept of education we had teh number one school system in tehw orld. We had the best education in the world bar none. What has happened since?

I think it's been proven that consumption of fructose leads to higher liver fat, higher triglycerides and insulin resistance more so than consumption of glucose.

No question that it was pushed by the USG in the 70's but when cuban sugar was banned in the 60s manufactures started turning towards CS as an alternative to the higher priced sugar.
