So, the money was spent in Mozambique, not the Middle East. For some, the issue is not where the money was spent, but how much money was spent, and whether that is the best allocation of our tax dollars. So, I wonder:

How much money do you think the US should spend on the global effort against AIDS?
If you don't have a dollar amount, I would be satisfied with what you think is a reasonable percentage for the US to pay out of the entire world's contributions to AIDS prevention efforts.

I am just curious. Everyone has a limit. Where is yours?

There are some here who will tell you straight up that they are against all spending like this. I've got no issue with them. they're internally consistent and don't bother pretending everything being cut is corruption.

I have issue with lying to skew public perception on what we keep and what we don't keep.

The burden of proof shouldn't be on random individuals to go find the payments they're referencing, especially when as ButchPlz noted the purpose of payment is often listed as "logistics services" etc. DOGE has the information readily available, they're looking at the payments, so at the very least just say "this item in the database listed as 'logistics services' is actually sending diapers to Antarctica." Easy way to be more credible and earn more trust

As far as I'm concerned, Trump's last four years in office, and more recently listening to the Dems grill his appointees, has garnered a lot of trust on my part. And I'd assume a lot of his supporters are similar in that mindset.

The Left and the Media went on a treasonous spree of lies and lawfare to try to unseat Trump. It was an incredibly disproportionate response to losing an election. If the swamp is that desperate to get rid of him, he has my trust until proven otherwise.

And listening to them grill his appointees, it seemed all they really wanted was on the record statements that they wouldn't investigate the Dems, that the Capital protest was an insurrection, and that Biden won the election without it having been stolen.

It seems to me, they are covering the areas they know they are exposed and guilty.

So, in conclusion. The swamp can piss off if they want me to give them the benefit of the doubt.
