Just basic media manipulation during an election to favor a candidate. Some would call it election interference by editing her answers to questions not asked.

Protest and screech all they want, but fact is majority of public supportsthese efforts. Such a losing side to be on politically, just as the males in female sports issue. Fine by me, as just muddies the water for their political future and unity, which is very suspect already.

I like most of the concepts of the libertarian philosophy. Me opinion of most libertarians I know isn’t so kind.

Most of the ones I know are dissatisfied with a system that doesn’t 100% adhere to their philosophy. They seem to like to talk about theory and bitch about others more than anything. Should spend more time trying to get someone elected to higher office. But that might take away their high horse to bitch from.

The other issue is pure libertarianism, pure free markets, are a pipe dream ideal just like communism on the other end. The end "result" of libertarianism sounds good but it is just not possible.

We are still a republic. The laws of the land still apply regardless of what the mob wants.

Majority rule doesn't suddenly become justification just because your side is now in power.

I consider myself a Constitutional Libertarian. If it's spelled out in the Consitution I am generally good with it, even if it isnt strictly libertarian. If it's not spelled out, the government should stay out of it.

The govt is like layers of the earth. It's been built up over many years and no one era is completely to blame.

Defense is expanding in spending. Let's stop pretending spending is going to go down with this. It's just being moved

Just because Repubs helped build and maintain doesnt make them conservative constructs.
You just defeated your own argument that this is partisan, as it was built with Repub support.
So more aptly, it is an ideological act.

They're not yet going after things the other side covets. IF they decide to then we'll see if they squeal.

I wouldn't mind this finally being a useful whataboutism fight. If both sides could effectively whack the other with "Well, whatabout your wasteful spending here, huh?!" the taxpayers could just sit there with popcorn and cheer the hell out of both sides.

They already said they are hitting the Pentagon. I am at least willing to see how this all plays out.
I get the cynicsm based on history, but we will see. Some money will get moved around for sure, but I am waiting for the bottom line.
