Department of Government Efficiency - DOGE

Lots of folks are talking about contracting out. Privatize and things will be better, more efficient, etc, etc.

Just a quick example from my job.. My administrative assistant is a contractor (her company provides our admin support - lowest bidder yall!). Her contract is $180,000 a year (she doesnt get all that, maybe 70k).
A fed that I could hire to do the same job? 60k a year or less. And if you factor in "total compensation" from benefits its still $40,000+ less than one contractor.

Privatization would mirror these current contracts. I would wager the government would be spending almost double if/when they privatize.

And I would like to also emphasize that Feds theoretically are beholden only to the constitution and the American public. Its not a for profit enterprise. Can a lot be privatized? Sure. I think most technicians could be privatized and their numbers greatly reduced. That would save money in the long run. Removing unions removes the largest barriers to change which could bring most of the Fed into the 21st century tech wise (we still have computers running DOS). Privatize and have federal oversight over services provided would work.

But federal employment is the low hanging fruit that won't make a dent in spending/The Deficit even if you fire all 2 million employees. Want to save money? Tell congress to stop spending it.. Stop voting for the same people. Vote out the career politicians.

If the "stopped payment for work already done" is true....

Trump doesn't own the US. He seems a bit confused about that
It stems from the SC saying he can basically do anything he wants without being held personally criminally liable. While that may be "true", it doesn't mean that the implications of his actions won't be held accountable nor will the us government as a whole be held accountable. Thats the part he doesn't get. He's going to cost the government more money than anyone imagined, especially the folks who think firing federal employees is going to fix anything. I have a feeling those actions will cost taxpayers more money than if they hadn't fired them and let them retire in 20 years..

How is this any different from the Biden administration doing the exact same thing…..other than you not careful about it then.

Wrong then, wrong now.
But guess what. It won’t change and the next time the Democrats are in charge your eyes will be closed again

None of this shot matters without a balanced budget as a first step

Idk what counts as "concerning" to you but she said she had been trying to reach him for several days and he hadn't responded, and that he's barely seen his kid or tried to. So he unfollowed her and started slandering her instead.

These are also pretty weird

I thought what goes on between two consenting adults was supposed to be their business…… ?

Isn't this the news.divison on the parent company that just lost USAID funding due to Doges audit??? Seems convenient unarmed sources and a hit piece without proof
JFC, everything is a conspiracy to you except the billionaires saying they'll help the working class if you just give them keys to the government. No "seems convenient" for that?

So is it true that rueter news is a division of a parent company that had DOGE had publicly exposed..Yes...the "hard proof" is anonymous sources which are unverified..yes..didn't say conspiracy I stated convenient which is a fact....

This coming from a guy who paid a 15 year to play Diablo online for him to get a high score, pretend it was himself playing and brag about it, then do a livestream playing showing he had no idea what he was doing...yeah..take anything Elon says with a massive grain of salt.

Lol. So you agree with all the wasteful spending?

And that's just the problem. This is the same MSM that's run with known lies for years because they're the propaganda arm of the left. We really don't know what to believe. It's best to take every bit of it with a few grains of salt until it all sorts out.

Reuters and Thomson Reuters are completely different things, have you not heard of Westlaw? Feel free to find everything "convenient" except the most obvious thing though
