Meh. Chauvin didn't have to remain kneeling on Floyd's neck for those full 9 minutes. Chauvin showed a complete indifference to whether or not Floyd survived his detainment. It was reckless disregard. You can make the argument that Chauvin was overcharged, but I don't see how you can credibly argue that his use of force was proportional and reasonably justified by an existing threat. Chauvin was definitely guilty of something. It doesn't me. This was 100% political
For me it was the fact he kept his knee on his neck for almost 4 minutes after he was dead. He obviously knew he was unconscious, just didn't give a ****.Meh. I watched very little of this circus, but one part I did see was the part where the prosecutor said that Chauvin 'assaulted' Saint George. A charge of assault would seem to open up the floodgates for every thug to now start screaming 'assault' when being arrested. Were I an instructor of tactics (and I actually do know a little about it) it would be very difficult to draw a line. That's why I think ALL cops should walk off the line. I can certainly see them backing off of a perp under certain circumstances. But then again, cops run toward gunfire, not away from it. jmho.Reason I say white is because if a black cop did the same thing he would have never seen the inside of a courtroom
