She couldn't beat out Kia Stokes, Kia Vaughn and Amanda Zahui for a roster spot in NY and that's not a terribly imposing post rotation. I think she needs a season overseas to prove she can consistently play at a high level.

Russell was signed by the Liberty and is on their roster 😁 so the #1 player was signed to a team.

So glad for Russell!!!

Unfortunately, when Vaughn and Stokes are back and ready to play, Russell will be waived. Same with Nared on the Aces. Due back this season are McBride, Montgomery, Harrison. Nared will be waived.

Maybe/ maybe not all we know is she made a roster and can show what she can do... the rest is up to her.

I posted several time about Russell being knock kneed, which limits mobility and leaping. She also had foot issues, which set her back.

Guys and gals.......FP and I have been on VN for YEARS, he is the ONLY one I was joking with about him saying that he let his DAUGHTER read the entire thread........"Reported" is a fun way to cut up about a post......no one was actually reported.......wow........and I have to say that Coach J, you definitely SEEM to take everything that anyone posts personally, that is not a good thing on a board like this the "suck-up" comment to you a few days ago was an attempt to lighten the mood by me, not a personal attack......Kumbaya VN......

Not for sure. Shoni Schimmel, Raigyne Louis, and Lindsay Allen all could be waived ahead of her. And no one knows when Isabelle will be back.

Shoni and Raigyne were both waived today to make room for Kelsey and Kayla, so Jaime's chances of making the final roster are looking pretty good right now.

Las Vegas is at 13 players, including Izzy. I don't know what the WNBA rule is for carrying injured players, and if they count for the 12. But I'd say Jaime's sitting pretty right now.

Shoni is such a disappointment. She wasn't disciplined enough to put the cheeseburger down in exchange for a pro career, so she really has no one to blame but herself.
