At this point, does it really matter? The available legal due process was followed and the election stands. You can’t say you believe in the rule of law and not accept the results of the appointed process. That way leads to anarchy and pain.
That said, any constitutional steps states can take to increase voter confidence in the tallied totals for their state for future elections is good for everyone. So voter ID and provisons to enhance voting security can only help things.
I really feel sorry for you. I’ll pray for you and let God do his work. Then again, he may say I can’t help him.
Can you provide the link for the poll showing 66% of republicans believe trump won?
So you are OK with them just mailing in a ballot. I am looking for a way for ALL ballots to be certified. People living out of the country for work or pleasure should be allowed to vote, should not be allowed to simply mail in a ballot and should be afforded a way to get a mail in ballot certified. Not trying to belabor the issue but what's the point of that? It seems like more work for the embassy with no added value.
Voter confidence is low because several states used the pandemic as an excuse to ignore decades worth of election law to allow almost anything pretty much including a mailed in napkin scribbled in crayon and mailed in a month before the election as a „vote“ ( I am only slightly exaggerating here). Under those conditions, the losing side will always claim fraud. Biden already had an army of lawyers on standby for just the same purpose if he would have lost.Voter confidence in elections is low only because a bunch of impressionable idiots were constantly fed lies about voter fraud that didn't exist. Screw them.
A is more concerning if we desire an educated and involved electorate. It's also a perfect recipe for fraudAre you more concerned with......
A. People who are to lazy to actually go to the polls to vote now getting a vote through mail-in voting
or
B. People having so much time and energy that they go to multiple polls and vote multiple times because no ID is required
Neither here nor there, but I read an article once on the death of Edgar Allan Poe and one of the suggested causes of his death was that he was a victim of cooping. Cooping was where citizens were kidnapped off the streets by gangs and forced to vote for a certain candidate at multiple locations, often being beaten to ensure their cooperation.
I have no problem with eliminating mail in ballots if it can be assured that polling places will have somewhat equal wait times.A is more concerning if we desire an educated and involved electorate. It's also a perfect recipe for fraud
There's no reason to continue mail in ballots. The previous method was just fine

A voting district of 300 registered voters having 10 voting booths while a district of 10,000 voters has only five raises concern.
It should not be significantly easier and efficient to cast a vote in district A than in district B - and that is currently the case.
Do you think that the easier it is to vote, the more likely it is that people will vote who really shouldn't?There is plenty enough time to vote. It’s always been easy to vote and always will be. Why are liberals pressing so hard for mail in ballots? Anyone with a brain can deduce that. But hey, keep on thinking that you and your party are so for voting rights.
