Hearing Herbstreit and the other talking heads use the term SEC fatigue about 62000 times the last month just made me pull for them harder.

I subscribe to the enemy of my enemy is my friend in Auburn's case as well.

A strong Auburn will affect Alabama's recruiting a lot more than ours.

And finally, I refuse to ever pull for a team this man is associated with again:

Regional pride? A&M and Mizzoo are now in the conference. My degree is not from the University of the south and midwest region of the United Sates.

Yep, Gomers or idiots--synonyms.....Some of these guys just don't remember back to 1998 when the pollsters were looking for ANY REASON to keep the VOLS out of the NC game...We only got there because UCLA and Kansas State lost their last games before the bowls...why, to this very day they say we were just lucky NC winners because we only beat a team with a 3rd string QB...

And those same writers--predominantly from the North, Northeast, and West--are the same thieves who robbed both Majors and Manning of the Heisman trophy...

There's just NO WAY they're gonna choose a VOLS team for the 4-team playoff if it's even close with a team from another conference--UNLESS there's no doubt that UT is the best team because of strength of schedule and Conference W-L records.

And you're danged right--I'd rather pull for my SEC brethren than for any of those teams and their idiot sports writers.....

I also can't stand to listen to Fisher and Stoops crow...Auburn gave that game away Monday night--even though their D played well enough to win, ultimately Malzahn beat himself in the 3rd QTR by getting conservative and having some just stupid play calls....

Either way--I think the Playoff system will once again be dominated by SEC teams...and I hope to see our VOLS get there sooner rather than later. GO VOLS! :salute:

because of some obnoxious auburn fans at my office, I was pulling for fsu. AU was lucky to play in the title game after 2 fluke wins.

Auburn because they hate Bama as much as us. I also have a great friend who likes the Barn and he isn't obnoxious.

I live in Alabama now and my best friend is an AU fan and AU fans have always been very good to me at UT/AU games.

Yeah I supported AU but I also informed my buddy that if I find out who their bagman is buying/stealing our commits, I would flatten him in my Silverado forward and backwards!

We had a little help in 98...Stoerner and his late game fumble? Destiny is what it is. We had Alabama beat in Nicktators first run with them but the fatest clown on their team got enough air to block a FG.

Yes, I definitely pulled for the Tigers! On our annual guys football trip (every year is a different venue) we went to the Georgia - Auburn game in Auburn. What a game! We met two tremendous families and their kids, and had an awesome tailgate. They are classy people and when I told them I was a Vol, they had nothing but good things to say about Big Orange! Just had to pull for their team since we were sitting home!

I was pulling for FSU all the way. Even with cheating, Auburn could not win. So much for that world changing Malzahan offense.

Well, we can sit around and hope that EVERY college team in the SE sux so that we can have some advantage in recuiting, or we can suck it up and become as good as they are. UT has gone 5-7 the last three years, but for some strange reason they are #2 in recruiting. So, we are #2 ahead of Auburn and FSU.
