Die on the Chick-Fil-A Hill?

Yes, I've obviously had both.

Extreme demand brings out the worst in people. See: every Black Friday. But for people saying "I love getting CFA to own the libs. Also, I haven't ever actually tasted it, but the Popeyes sandwich is probably just hype and no way it's better," CFA's politics are certainly playing a role.
Popeyes and CFA have not really even been competitors until Popeyes made a chicken sandwich. Maybe it’s good, maybe it’s not. But I’m probably not going to make a special trip to the **** part of town to find out.

Anyone see the video of the lady getting body slammed at the Columbia Popeyes by an employee?

That will hurt their business bad.
Yeah I did. I noticed the one black woman punching the old white lady as she’s walking towards the parking lot, then the big black guy body slams her onto the pavement while another black guy looks gleeful about it and about 10 other p#### a## dudes and women stand around and watch. Honest question, what would the difference in reaction and coverage be if it was a group of white people on video doing this to a lone elderly black woman? My money says much different.

I think it’s pretty telling that everyone acted like this was some innocent white lady and not someone who had just called the entire staff n****rs

Wasn't she called a washed up cracker or something to that effect?

Did I say it was? I do think that’s a pretty huge detail to leave out.
I don’t know what she said or didn’t say. But I do know what’s in the video. Body slamming an old woman because she said a mean word doesn’t absolve the guy that did it.

Yeah, no one here seems to "know what she said or didn't say," even though it's all over the Internet AND referenced in the video. Weird, huh?

Witnesses say the attack began after a woman disputed a charge on her bill at the restaurant in Columbia, Tennessee.

A heated argument ensued between the customer and several employees, prompting workers to tell the customer to leave the restaurant. Employees claim the woman then used the N-word.

"This ain't no place to say the N-word," a customer who was speaking off camera said in the video.

The woman's attorney said the employee's actions weren't justified.

"If she said something that she regrets, it doesn't give a grown man the right to chase her into the parking lot as she is trying to leave the store, and body slam a 55-year-old grandmother down on the concrete," he said.

Maybe she should have body slammed the fat manager for calling her a washed up cracker then, since you think what he did was justified.

I haven’t seen that mentioned anywhere, but white people trying to equate “cracker” with “n***er” is absolute trash

No one mentioned it because it doesn’t fu***** matter if she said that. It doesn’t justify an elderly woman being surrounded and assaulted by a bunch of scumbag losers. I think it’s telling that you seem to think it somehow justifies their actions.

He is a racist, so it's justified in his mind.

Are you actually making the argument that cracker is equivalent to n***er? If so, no need to dance around it

They are both racial slurs. This idea that it’s wrong for whites to use a racial slur against blacks, but just funny and perfectly fine for blacks to walk around casually calling whites crackers is idiotic. They are equivalent in my mind. Same as any other racial slur.

The history of both says you're dead wrong. One is simply an evil word
Who determines that? Are the slurs for Jews, gypsies, Indians, Italians, Irish, Asians, etc. not as bad? Where do they fall on the injustice ladder? Just because you find the efficacy of one higher than the other does not change the fact that those terms are used by one group to denigrate another.
