Division among Bama coaches over Kiffin

Crompton was a highly rated QB coming out of HS. It's not like LK took a walk on and got him drafted. I think the light just finally came on around half time of the Auburn game.

In general LK gets too much credit as an offensive guru. He is average at best.

I agree.

I think most of that 40% I mentioned was helping him get his head straight.

Except statistics and record as an OC completely disprove this.

I wonder if Kiffin's will show videos of the Reggie Bush USC teams to show Bama what a real football team looks like.

Kiffin's office will be littered with Reggie Bush and Leinart fat head posters, USC championship posters, and a big framed picture of Pete Carroll on his desk.

Doubtful

He's seems like the type of person that has pictures of himself every where to remind himself of how awesome he is

I know y'all hate this dude but he's going to rebuild himself, be great at his job, and earn the admiration of another program in a short while to become a head coach again. Alabama will have Lane for a max of 4 years before someone comes calling.

Not that you are going out on a limb or anything, but please tell me where he has been employed for 4 years. Have you done any research into Kiffin's character? Just asking?

I come to VN for most of my research and use BigVolDaddy's YouTube channel for the rest. I'm like an "insider".

You should thank me for posting really.

Lane Kiffin can coach offense and recruit talent. Period. Burn a shirt, piss on a bobble head, or whatever. He is good at beating defenses when he has the players. He will win.

Yah. But rumor is Mike Leach is on the phone now trying to get Bama on their schedule with a home/away.

Give Lane tunnel vision and allow him to only focus on one thing and see what he does.

I've not heard that but;

So? Mike doesn't have at real talent up yonder.

That was my point. He beat Kiffin's over-talented Trojans this year at USC.

“It’s not the loudest stadium, but there’s some magic here," said Leach. "From that standpoint, I can’t wait to play here again."

He nearly beat Alabama with a jv tennesee team and was real caught up on being "the guy" at SC. He won't be at Bama.

All right give it up. Is this SGM? If so I will not give you junk. If you are not SGM then y'all should meet.

Saban basically said it was time to clean house. There seemed to be some division with some of the younger guys on the team not playing and some coaching not getting it done. Kiffin appears to have been in town in Dec not to consult but to talk with Saban about the job. Seems it was then when he was interviewed. A few coaches not getting it done were told to look elsewhere and did. We may replace a few more before it is done.

Saban processes coaches as well as players.
