Division among Bama coaches over Kiffin

Unbelievable that 4 years later, we're just now beginning to crawl out of that mess.

Even more unbelievable that Mike Hamilton was allowed to stick around and hire Derek Dooley.

And even more unbelievable the number of UT fans that can't wait to kiss his ass at every opportunity. He's had his ass whipped everywhere he has been as HC, while lying and cheating along the way, but he helped a top 5 qb recruit, Crompton, play well in a game or 2 and his ass kissed forever buy the ones that were suckered in to his bs years ago and still hold on.

He also almost slid Matt Barkley clear off the draft board too.

Because he is lighting it up in the pros.

oh, wait.

Maybe Barkley just isn't all that.

There's plenty of reasons to hate on Kiffin, not sure this is one.

Keep in mind LW that Crompton was a 5* recruit that coach Cut was excited about. Clawson was the wrong guy at the wrong time in 08'

yeah, and he looked like tarzan and played like Jane until the 2009 UGA game. EVERYONE was screaming for Crompton to be benched! Absolutely no one thought that he should be starting--except LK--until after the UGA game. :salute:

I actually think it will be worse. I think Smart lands at UGA soon and Kiffin becomes HC in waiting at Bama. That POS made a deal with the devil to always land on his feet it seems.

Write this down and keep it for all time: Lane Kiffin will NEVER be the head coach at Alabama--NEVER, NEVER, NEVER! :salute:

Or maybe Lame sucks at coaching up talent and did nothing to help Barkley.

The more I think about it the more i'm NOT seeing kiffin as this offensive guru...at USC he shared duties with Sark...Sark went on to put up decent numbers offensive wise at UW then land the USC job...Kiffin went to Oakland struggled with JR at QB i'll give him a pass Russell was terrible...Then land the job at UT told Boyd he wouldn't fit at UT(still not happy about that) then proceed to strike out on every QB he tried to committ to the vols only landing Bray who had great arm talent but lacked mental make up...He then lands the USC job and proceeded to take Barkley from #1 pick to a 4th round soon to be out of the NFL

So he has never developed a QB or shown he can he coached WR's at USC not the QB's...Sark had the QB's how did those WR's turn out that he coached at USC again??

One thing I think we overlook, USCw QBs are ALWAYS highly rated and touted, drafted high.... and then suck in the NFL. That's not Kiffin to me, that's USCw, or Pete Carrol even.

Kiffin didn't coach Carson Palmer/Matt Leinart Sark & chow did....Kiffin coached Matt Barkley

Lane Kiffin can coach offense and recruit talent. Period. Burn a shirt, piss on a bobble head, or whatever. He is good at beating defenses when he has the players. He will win.

But he had the players at USC. And he failed miserably.

Kiffin apologists often cite Crompton's improvement during the 2009 season in his defense but never point out that neither Georgia or South Carolina were any good that year and he still threw a pick six against UGA. Crompton did throw 27 TD passes that year which sounds great until you dig deeper and see that 9 of them were either against Western Kentucky or Memphis who were atrocious. Also, whoever said that Kiffin could beat good defenses with talent didn't see the Washington St game where they scored 10 points at home. He ran Barkley's draft stock into the ground and his team got better after he and his giant laminated play card were sent packing.

And yet all those QBs are failures in the NFL, the connection of them isn't Kiffin, it's USC. USC has a history of having QBs under perform in the league, not Kiffin.
