Link to the news report or his coach or him apologizing. If this is true, we don't need him. We've had plenty of troublemakers in the past to hold us over for a few years.

There is no link out there yet because he hasn't made it public according to my source. The family is planning on sueing him and it will go from there. All of this is directly from his friends at his high school.

He has yet to make it public.

There is no better source than the people that associate with him on a daily basis. The bottom line is that it unfortunatly happened but there is still a chance he could wear orange, I don't know Fulmer's policy on that.

Hmmm... are we already assuming guilt before a trial? Lets not jump the gun and assume that he's guilty just because he has a penis.

What if he didn't mean to. What if he was trying to protect himself and maybe threw his arms up and accidentally hit her in the eye? What if he tried to contain her and while wrestling her to the ground she hit her eye on something solid like a bed post or something.

If he hit her and was charged with assault, as you suggest, I don't believe it would be up to him to make it public.

Arrests are typically publicized in local newspapers.

Though, I don't know if it would be publicized if he is under 18.

The have people who are 17 in my local paper who have been arrested. I always look and see if anyone I went to school with has been arrested and have seen 17 year olds in the paper.

I am just reporting what I have been told. DJ's former girlfriend is planning on sueing him. Chances are is that his scholorship relies on the trial unless charges are dropped. Although I don't know Fulmer's policy on recruit's mishaps.

ESPN had him as barely missing the top150. They said he very likely would be in the top 150 by the end of his senior year.

Look, I don't condone any violence, much less assault on a woman. But we got to remember that these kids are in high school, and drama like this happens every day. Not taking up for the kid, but lets wait and see before we cast any doubt.

If this is true, we would have to revoke his scholarship offer, because it's not the same, but it is in the same boat as Hood. Hood's was definitely worse though.
