Gee, maybe it's b/c men beat women at an alarming rate across this country while women rarely commit violent acts against men. Just ask anybody who works with Police

I have a buddy who is in the NPD. He tells me for every 3 men arrested they arrest a female for domestic violence. I wouldn't call that rarely.

It seems like we would be hearing something else...maybe some kids were spreading false rumors, Ohio?

It is a possibility but I doubt it. I just feel like everything is being kept on the downlow. You can not trust me or delete it, but that is just what I was told so I was passing on the information.

I worked with police here in Chicago, and trust me, it's a lot worse than that, but I will say that violence perpetrated by females is seriously on the rise compared to what it used to be.

I would also venture to say very few men would bother reporting domestic violence against them...

I couldn't find any individual stats from the game, but nonetheless, I feel that this is noteworthy.

UT commit DJ Hunter's high school, the Middletown Middies, beat the #1 ranked team in Ohio, and #8 in the USA Today national poll Colerain Cardinals. Congrats to DJ and his team as this is one of the areas biggest upsets and has splashed big news across the area.

apparently Hunter didn't answer calls or text from the volquest guys this week. hope it isn't because he is going to decommit.

I see him as being the most likely. He's one of our most highly touted recruits yet never seems to make it into many discussions or get much hype.

I'd hate to see him go, though, he looks like another Willingham.

Hunter, who says he is not considering other options at this time, was equally stunned by Fulmer's announcement.

"I didn't think that was going to happen," Hunter said. "I was surprised a lot. But I'm still going to Tennessee. I don't plan to visit anyone else."

Sorry to start another thread. I searched and couldn't find one for DJ.

Recruits should commit to the school, not just for the coach, although I do understand that they create a relationship to the staff. Why not give the new staff a chance though? Good for you DJ

Defensive back D.J. Hunter (Middletown, Ohio), a Buckeye State Top 20 prospect, remains committed to Tennessee despite the impending departure of Coach Phillip Fulmer. The Wisconsin Badgers wanted Hunter to visit this weekend, and a coach from West Virginia is set to stop by Middletown High School today.

Other schools in contact with Hunter over the past two weeks include Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Purdue, Louisville and Georgia Tech. Hunter plans to visit Tennessee sometime after a new coach is hired. He has not ruled out other visits, but nothing is schedule at this point and his current desire is to stay with his commitment to Tennessee.

Not sure what came out of the visit to WV or if he ever made the trip. However, he has them low on his interest level and is still commited to UT. He has not taken any official visits to any other school and that includes UT. I don't see he has any scheduled to UT either. Hopefully he is still solid but I would feel better if he would come for a visit.
