Do not tell me

That's actually the prine tenant of great leadership: Credit for success goes to your people, blame for failure falls squarely on you.

It's just and advantageous for Heupel to judge himself by that standard. It's neither just nor advantageous for us judge him by that standard.

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic. If so, does that make you the "belligerent idiot"?

You understood my meaning correctly. To be fair to tombowalker, though, quite a lot of outrageous things get written in this forum by people who write them in earnest.

I don’t think they are that bad, but last night they were.
Just like we are not as bad as we showed last week, but we were that night.
Bingo, folks that grew up playing sports knows that sometimes you lose to folks you have no business losing too. And then there are other times you won games that you weren’t supposed to. Sometimes you played great other times you didn’t. I remember my dad coaching us in basketball and baseball, he would say it’s amazing how you all can look so good one day and look like you have never played the next. All games are never the same. The intangibles are real, a bounce here or there, a fumble a mistake can magnify things. Sometimes the perfect storm happens for the good or bad. GBO

Do we know that? I've read several say it was earlier in the week.
Don’t take what you always read to heart. We played a bad game. They played a great game and we bounced back this week with a unified statement. We’re 10-2 and bring on whoever, we play all comers. GBO!!!!!

Didn't Heupel say post game that the supposed locker room issues were not true. He made some derisive comment about the rumors.

Sometimes what an offense is doing just works and with our defense already not being great, it spiraled quickly.

We did to Alabama what South Carolina did to us. Except that outside of our game Alabama had a top 20 defense all season.

Does Heupel get sole credit for the ten wins, then, or is it only the blame that doesn't get shared?
Yep this has been a great season and we throttled Vandy, who had just won vs UF and KY in previous weeks. I will say it’s been a crazy year where if you didn’t show up with your A game, there was a good chance you got beat…with the exception of only UGA. Guess I could also be thankful we only had one really bad no-show (not counting UGA).

That this defense was actually this bad last week. There was locker room problems. I blame no one but Heupel for not fixing everything before the SC game no matter the problem.
Same players and they have to play no matter what BS is going on. 10-2 heading to Orange or Sugar is an absolute great season! I hate the SC loss just as much as anyone but if you told me we were finishing 10-2 going to orange or sugar before the season started there is not 1 VN DA that would not have signed up for that immediately! You are lying if you say different!
