Do we jump Texas?

If this holds and TAMU beats Texas, we will have played Georgia better in Athens than Texas did in Austin, and we would have played @ Vandy better than did Texas, isn't our resume better than that of Texas?
Sark could do keg stands between series on the sidelines and nobody would jump Tejas. They’ve gotten more media bias than anyone not named PSU.

On the flip side, they beat Arkansas and we didn’t.

If Texas loses tonight, they will fall below us. So will Ohio state. A regular season loss to a much lower ranked team has meant a drop of at least six spots every single time it has happened this season.
Now, let’s go Southern Cal !!!

We want teams ahead of us to lose. We are in the playoffs.
I get that but we don't want to ADD more teams to the playoffs mix. If TAMU wins they can win the SEC and take an auto bid and now we have TAMU Texas and Georgia all ahead of us and we won't host a game

If they get beat, probably. But we WILL jump OSU.

We won't pass Ohio State or Texas at this point especially since Georgia won. We really need them to lose to get the logjam cleared ahead of us
Last year, #2 and unbeaten Ohio State lost at #3 and unbeaten Michigan and they dropped to 6th. Why would they not drop more picking up their second loss, at home, to a barely above .500, unranked Michigan team?

Georgia will have a 3rd loss at that point. They will be behind us. Texas will have a later loss and lesser schedule and will drop behind is. Ohio State should fall at least to 8th. They lost to a much better Michigan team to finish 11-1 last year and fell to 6th. Georgia was #1 last year and lost in the SECCG and fell to 6th.
