5-8 will host playoff games in 1st round.

5-8 SEEDS but not 5-8 in the rankings. Highest ranked conference champs are 1-4 in the seeding. The next 4 highest ranked teams host, which I’m guessing will be Big 10 CG loser, ND, then the loser of SECCG, Ohio State, and Tennessee battle for the other two hosts.

Texas also beat Arkansas, so the whole “comparison of how both teams played Vanderbilt” is a bit moot.
