Still waiting for evidence of those who say that they "hate" Bruce Pearl. This shouldn't be that hard since you have said that many in addition to Hat have said that. There are many threads that claim this, surely you must have evidence of this hate.

I dont think anyone but hatvol dislikes Bruce Pearl, however this is how a typical scenario plays out on the boards:

*Everyone knows hatvol dislikes Pearl

Hatvol: We have a poor half court defense

Everyfan: You know nothing! Pearl is the man! In Bruce I trust!

Lofton3four(buddy of hatvol): You are an ignorant Pearlophile

VolDud(another buddy of hatvol): Everyfan, your ignorance is apparent

Everyfan: You're all a bunch of Pearl haters!

LF3 has called Pearl a snake many times, and there are a few others who have slung names around as well. Go back to any of my early threads here in basketball and you can find plenty.

BPV never said he despised Pearl, just thought Pearl needed to focus on halfcourt defense. In a way this had to be a double dream season for BPV.

So, just to recap, there are many accusations that people follow Hatvol and hate Bruce Pearl but the most evidence given to date is to say that one person has called him a snake at some point and someone else has criticized his half court offense. Not sure even the Canadians would call those hate crimes.
