Do you Run?……Walk?….Bike?…..Swim?…..yoga?…..lift weights? What’s your workout plan?

This morning I sucked it up and went back out for the first time in 2 months. Was talking it easy and I took Eddy with me as I don’t run alone. About the 1.9 mile mark Eddy said F this I’m not running anymore. He may need to work up to it. We walked home.IMG_1732.jpeg

It was still below freezing at 9:00am this morning. I chose not to ride. None of my cycling pals did either. It’s got to be 40 or better for me to ride. I’ve set out in the high 30s when temperatures were going to rise shortly afterwards, but riding in 30 degree weather just ain’t my thing.
 
So…I’m not a fan of running without Myke. I’ve tried Eddy and Gus. Neither worked out. Eddy is too old and Gus has ADHDD. So alone it is.
I’m old fat and slow. At 55 years old I can’t afford the time away. You get out of shape fast at my age. IMG_1787.jpegIMG_1788.jpeg
 
Does not look like I’ll be getting my runs in this week.
Too damn cold.
Did heated vinyasa today. 3rd this week and achieved a personal best today. 5 pushups from a hand stand. I do have one foot against the wall but I’m still proud of it.

I second this. I tried to go for a walk and realized I'd need 3 layers, a face mask, and gloves to tolerate it.

Yeah, I’m older and wiser. I don’t ride in precipitation, on extremely windy days, or when temps are below 40 degrees.
 
Bike, 3-4 hours/week; run, 1-2 hours/week; row, 1 hour/week; strength 3-5x/week but usually only 15-20 minute sessions.

Core every day.

Try to do at least two 60+ minute cardio sessions per week.
