Ruby Ridge
Waco
MK Ultra
Operation Northwoods
The gulf of Tonkin incident
Governor Whitmer incident

Yes, I 100% trust my government, I believe Hunter is innocent, Hillary should be our next president, and I’m in no way suicidal.
Don't forget January 6. The Capitol Police Chief came out and said the whole thing was a set up.

Or riot and loot correct??? Let call out both sides...btw conservatives have compromised on abortion in most places.... Can Dems say the same?

Your call out both sides BS is getting stale. You know the Republicans are as beholden to the fringe just as much as the democrats.

For some of you, it's never a good thing. You don't get exactly what you want, then you whine about secession or national divorce or whatever you want to call it.

LOL

The best compromise would be to scale the federal government back to a point where it's inconsequential to the average American. If we don't find a way to compromise on that then we will eventually fail as a republic.

Like when California wanted to leave because of they were allowed to make their own abortion laws?

So why has no civilization ever operated without one?

Obviously some have operated without one. To claim every tribe of people in human history had an actual government is nonsense.

But if the question is simply “why do governments continue to form/operate” the obvious answer is the desire for power

The problem with this poll is that there is no HELL NO! answer to chose.

They have…it is usually temporary before a central government inserts itself like a plague of locusts.

Longest lasting democratic republic was Rome and even during it's almost 500 year existence there were times it wasn't very democratic, next longest lasting is the USA. All governments fail when they become too big and centralized.

because a nation with a government has always been strong enough to come in and conquer those without. the power of government is the power to conquer and enforce your will upon others who don't agree with you.

None have ever operated without some form....and there is a reason for that.

Good grief.
So we would have been better off not having created the US government?
