Dobbs just engineered a TD drive from his own 2 to close the scoring gap to 5 pts. Missed 2 pt try. 21-16 3rd qt.

Thanks refs. Sidelined his starting center which resulted in a sack to end another scoring drive.

Watched the entire game the last 3 weeks and Dobbs is a legit good NFL QB. Dude would have been a Heisman finalist if he had a legit coach in college. Pisses me off even more at BJ and his band of jokers.

I think he played well enough today to earn the start at home against the Bengals over the returning Murray. And the Bengals are very beatable. Today just too much Purdy and company for their D to handle.
PS Just read he's still on the PUP list and could be out another 3 weeks. Go Josh.

He's currently in the top 10 of QBR and passer rating despite having played the Cowboys and 49ers tough defenses. He's better than good. He looks great so far. Pro Bowl caliber.

Andddd.....There you go again.

He is good. Not Pro Bowl Caliber. He first needs to be good enough to where they don't replace him with Murray when he comes back. And he won't.

But if I'm the Jets, im looking at this situation closely. Dobbs could take them to next level if they could nab him from the Cards. OR I'm thinking if I'm the Cards, I'll offer Murray to the Jets. Not that they could afford him.

I’ll give D4H some credit here. If Dobbs continues to play like he has the last 2 1/2 games, he’s not just a good QB, but a great one.

I’ve watched just about every snap he has taken live this season, and even in their losses, he’s looked real good (he looked bad in week 1 but he’d only been there a few days).

Not just good, but REALLY GOOD… like top half of the league good. Arizona is going to have a controversy on their hands

You know that you only have to be in the top 3 of the NFC to be in the pro bowl. You also have people that sit out if they are still playing so anybody in the top 5 of NFC can make it.

Right now he is 3rd/4th in Passer Rating.

Despite the efficiency being down from last game and it being a loss I thought in some ways he actually looked better. His actual production was up and he made some really nice plays. (There was one scrample for a 1st down any Vol fan watching probably pictured him wearing an orange uni) And he did this against one of the better defenses.

It's just fun to watch a VFL and all around great guy do well.

The Cards would unload Murray’s contract in a heartbeat, but I don’t think any franchise in the league is that dumb.

He's currently 8th in QBR while having played the 49ers and Cowboys who both have elite defenses. How many other QBs do you think could perform like he did against those defenses? Especially without any elite receivers or tight ends to throw to?

Neither of us can predict what the Cardinals are gonna do in the future with regard to the QB situation thus its foolish to speculate. All we know is he's the starter right now and he's producing at a top 10 level while facing some of the tougher defenses in the league. I'd say that's a reason to be optimistic about Josh rather than trying to be pessimistic.
