Dobbs taking it to the Cowboys

Still annoyed the Titans got rid of him. Thought he was their best QB last season. The Titans seem determined to pretend that Malik Willis isn't a bust. And I'm not convinced that Tannehill is a better option than Dobbs either.

Happy for Dobbs, though! Hope he sees more success with the Cards!
I am convinced the Titans will take whatever steps are necessary to avoid having an actual Tennessee quarterback.

Well, Kurt Warner was bagging groceries at about the same age. There are occasional anomalies

Kurt Warner lead his team to 3 Super Bowls and won one of them!! He played for 12 seasons in the NFL. What the heck are you talking about?

He has a net worth of around 30 Million dollars. Did he own the grocery store?

Dobbs is currently 28 years old. Kurt Warner didn’t make an NFL roster until he was 28. He was literally stocking grocery shelves to make ends meet. That was the entire point of the the post that you responded to.

they certainly need a mobile QB with that garbage O line they assembled

Dobbs hasn't been "killing it" in the traditional sense but he looked like a legit NFL player today against a touted defense.

No. He's been killing it the last 2 games. Very efficient in the pass game. And don't discount how big his legs have been in the Cardinals run game. A major reason the Cardinals gashed the Cowboys all game was because of what Dobbs did on the second play of the game when he kept the handoff and ran it 44 yards down the sideline. The Cowboys have to honor him keeping it on the backside. That paired with the fact their pass rushers were aggressively trying to get upfield all game is what allowed the Cardinals to dominate the game running the ball.

A non-mobile QB doesn't lead a team to that sort of rushing performance.

He was bagging groceries at a grocery store the year before he won the Superbowl. Hey I know Dobbs is likely a career backup, but maybe for one year or two he can be a contributor as a starter. Maybe sneak into the playoffs? I qualified my comparison in my first comment. Try to understand the context

You're playing into your own meme. He's played well and been efficient. That's great and we should all be happy to see it. Saying he's been "killing it" is just flaunting bias. Why can't we let Josh receive credit for what he's actually done without over the top embellishments?

FRT I'm all for him blowing up...he's an A+ dude and outstanding VFL ambassador.

He’s a hellaluva lot better than Kyler I’m always hurt Murray!
Not sure their media or fans realize what they have yet.

Before the Dallas game:
Quarterback Joshua Dobbs is by no means a top-tier talent, but he has a sweet spot that has, so far, given him a passer rating of 118.8 or better when he throws in a pair of specific spots on the field.

After the beat down:

Once again, the Cardinals started off hot, and they did just enough in the second half to secure a two-score win. Quarterback Joshua Dobbs was nothing short of phenomenal, completing 17 of 21 passes for 189 yards, a touchdown, and a 120.0 passer rating.

Dobbs had a good game today--had arguably the game-winning TD pass to Brown. I"m happy for him. But all things considered, the Cards running game was the real difference today--that and their defense.

He was bagging groceries after missing out on the NFL in 1994 for a very short period. He won the super bowl in 1999.

As a Cowboys fan, I wish he had waited another week to play this well ... but I'm happy for Josh.
had Dallas startiina for fantasy league, do i thought there's no way cards could torch that unit despite loss of Diggs/Those monos 2 points may end in an L. Couldnt be happier for Josh. Heck, I may have to consider adding him to my roster, Ive got Dak and Lawrence, and theyve been sworth squat

It's what the Titans do...They screw up at screwing up. If you look up dysfunctional in the dictionary it will say....See Titans leadership.

Congratulations to Dobbs...but the 13 penalties and 1/5 in Red Zone for Cowboys had as much to do with the outcome as the Cardinals defense...

Dobbs had the 4th highest QBR today of any starting QB. He has a QB Rating of 98.1 for the season. He's completing 72% of his passes.

The numbers and the eye test say he's been killing it. Especially these past 2 games.
