Dobbs tearing it up

He is a rocket scientist, in literal terms, that so happens to play quarterback.

To say that I am impressed is a understatement.

Difference between an A and a C is huge to most grad programs.

Edit: when applying anyways once in there isn't much difference as long as you pass.

It's almost impossible to get into engineering grad school with a C average. And in grad classes, a C is as bad as an F. Most places require a 3.0 just to remain in good standing.

That's my point or the one I was trying to make anyways. Grades are important and there definitely is a difference between an A and a C.

Dobbs doesn't really need to go to grad school to be successful in the engineering field, though it's hard to imagine that an exceptionally bright, determined, hard working young man like himself wouldn't want to. Of course he may simply wish to get his B.S. and then pursue the NFL. He's in a great spot, opportunity-wise.

Yes he is. Determination goes a long way, add to it that he very smart and seems to have a leadership drive to him. Very promising future for him both on and off the field.

Smart guy--love it. I'm trying to interest my daughter in engineering--not an easy sell. Impressive, man.

That is good. But, I 'll bet you there are over 1000 people that have been on here one time or another that have worked full time and went to school full time up to obtaining their masters degree. They just don't get the recognition. Just saying.

Personally, it's great to read a story about a UT quarterback, who happens to be an aerospace engineering major, and happens to be doing well in both pursuits.

He may or may not be the answer at QB. He may or may not make history as an A/engineer.

But right now, he represents the University of Tennessee very well, both on and off the field. That's more than most of us do, and plenty enough for me.

Go Dobbs, and Go Vols. I hope you get a street near the stadium, and a celestial star, named after you.

I sucked at time management when I was in college (80's) and I still suck at it today. I have a tremendous amount of respect for what Dobbs is doing and the schedule he has to keep as a 18-19 year old. Impressive and life skills that will following him long past football.

I just became a big time Josh Dobbs fan. No wonder he was a little slow to catch on at quarterback. He's solving the world's problems at the same time.

There is still hope for the young people of this country!

Hope he works out like our last QB who was an outstanding student, and actually graduated in only 3 years, if memory serves!!

Now who was that guy???? Played for the Colts for a while, then got traded to the Broncos due to injuries?????

Well I'm stumped????

.

I think he is the same guy who bought a bunch of Papa John's locations in a state that was soon to legalize marijuana. Now that's smart.
