One of the things that makes Dobbs good to "come in and get started" is his intellect. His experience helps but I'll bet his ability to pick up the offense is second to none AND he doesn't come in like Brady or Rodgers with "my plays we need to run."

Good for him.

My goodness, neither Brady nor Rodgers has ever bounced around the league as a backup. It's an irrelevant comparison. Make no mistake though, I love Dobbs, but both Brady and Ainge forgot more about how to play QB than Dobbs. Every single nuanced aspect of the position. Wow

I dislike the "primadonna" behavior of both Brady and Rodgers when traded. Maybe they've "earned it" but imagine being a teammate and this new guy comes in with plays he tells the coach he needs to run, extra time away from practice, etc.

I get that Brady and Rodgers are more talented than Dobbs but I doubt they're better teammates.

Dobbs will do what's works for the team. Brady and Rodgers will do what works for Brady and Rodgers.

Justin Jefferson is out. AJ Brown was a Titan last year when they hired Josh to come in and start. He isn't suddenly going to become a sought after starter

Dobb's was always just going to be at AZ until Kyler came back. I am willing to bet he was 100% aware of the plan. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Falcons jersey next season. I don't think I can watch too many more games with Ridder.

Dobbs has invented a new business model.

Temporary QBs for Hire.

This could be a great business. Hire a temp QB for a game or two.

Forget paying big dollars for a QB1, just go to Temp QBs to get a great deal.

My buddy who is a big Vikings fan, is pissed. Why? Because now they may be just good enough to not get a solid draft pick and draft a upper tier QB.

What a problem to have.

Happy for Josh. The best chance he has had.
