Dobbs to the Vikings

I have only been able to see Dobbs play in 1 game this season, but from that 1 game and highlights of the others it looks like he played good to keep his team in the game and even win. Their defense gave up enough points to get them beat with the Giants and some other games. Arizona seems to be in a re-building mode, dumping Hopkins and play makers, and their line wasn't good so Dobbs had to scramble for his life and make plays on his own. I'm more that happy he's going to a decent team and hope he gets the recognition for being the gutsy talented player that he is. Great ambassador for the Volunteers.

Justin Jefferson is out. AJ Brown was a Titan last year when they hired Josh to come in and start. He isn't suddenly going to become a sought after starter
The Titans rather infamously traded Brown, their only significant outside threat, to the Eagles before the draft so he could get a contract. Woods and Burks together didn’t replace his yardage, and Titans WRs caught a total of 6 TDs the entire season.

Fun fact: Vikings HC Kevin O'Connell, a career journeyman QB, was born in Knoxville, TN (grew up in California)

The only negative is the winter weather because he doesn't have any hair on his head. His ears will get cold.

They have an indoor stadium

As soon as I heard JD was starting in AZ, I ordered NFL Sunday Ticket and started recording the games. I have watched every game, and he has played as good as just about any other QB in the NFL, all things considered.

His highlight reel far outweighs his few mistakes. I still say JD could get it done.

I live out here in Phoenix. The Cardinals are always in a rebuilding mode and have always been a dysfunctional organization. They make the Browns look like a model franchise. Make no mistake, they are a terrible team this year and Dobbs has helped make them at least moderately competitive in some games. I guarantee you the other Cards QB and Murray won’t look any better such a sub par roster. I am looking forward to seeing Dobbs play for the Vikings and I think he’s going to kill it there. Don’t understand all these negative comments about his limited ability. Why not get excited for JD and dream big.

Also, out here in PHX I didn’t hear one negative comment about Dobbs. Everybody loved him, most for his attitude and the way he presents himself. They all seemed to like him more than Murray regardless of talent levels. We should all be proud and excited that such an awesome person is representing UT so well.

The Cardinals have been to the Superbowl and playoffs much more than the Browns. Not how you could even compare them. Haven't seen anyone intentionally negative. Lots of facts. He's at the Vikings as a backup. Having unrealistic expectations for him isn't admirable

AJ Brown was an Eagle last year… The Titans had no production out of the WR position last year. Hopkins pretty much eclipsed what the entire unit did last year in one game this past weekend.

Eh, not really. The Cardinals have been to the super bowl once and the Browns zero times. Carndinals are 7-10 all time in the playoffs. Browns are 17-21 all time in the playoffs.
They are certainly comparable. Maybe the Cardinals one super bowl appearance trumps the Browns appearing in the playoffs more times. I don't know. Certainly not "much more playoff appearances".

Dobbs has invented a new business model.

Temporary QBs for Hire.

This could be a great business. Hire a temp QB for a game or two.

Forget paying big dollars for a QB1, just go to Temp QBs to get a great deal.
Exactly. He could be the next Ryan Fitzpatrick. Also, Chase Daniels (former Mizzou QB) played 14 years for 8 different NFL teams as a backup. Also had a career earnings of just under $42M.
