He's not going to be a part. I don't think he can provide any real help to the team and if he wasn't going to be a significant factor then he wasn't going do it.

You bubbled on and on about how Dobbs shouldn't even be given the opportunity. You said it numerous times and most of us tried to convince you to simmer down and let the whole thing play out.

I was clear from that start that perfectgame ranked him very low thus he shouldn't play

I even posted that jones likely had an understanding with CDS about Dobbs role deciding his fate on the team

Perhaps you should just offer me another cookie Because everything I posted in this thread was spot on

A football teams needs it's QB/leader in offseason workouts and other offseason activities. That's very important


Much more important than a walk on or less talent wasting time at that ballpark

There is Bruin's first 3 posts. I don't think it was dumb to tryout. Might as well find out if you are good enough. I understand his point from a football standpoint.

I don't think it was dumb to tryout either just to let an SEC staff evaluate him

It would have been dumb to play with his talent level.

That was the point of my entire opinion which you proved by quoting those 3 post

I figured it would be tough for him to jump back into things after 3 years off. Offensively and getting on the field at SS. Some of the other guys that have done both were outfielders or pitchers. You don't see many 2-sport guys playing QB and SS at a high D1 level. I'm sure there have been some. I just can't think of them.

Agreed it hard for sure but perfectgame really rated him very very low.

That's where I based my opinion from
