Does anyone know if Hyatt is practicing with the team?

Hyatt playing in the bowl game. Hyatt hasn’t even made a decision yet rather if he is coming back or going pro yet. But he has signed multiple NIL deals since the season has ended. If he had no intentions of coming back, why sign NIL deals when you’re about to have millions anyways without doing the NIL deals guidelines for each company? I think he’s coming back.

All of the NIL deals become just endorsement deals once he goes pro. There was never anything to read into them one way or the other.

He had one really good year, but pro scouts will want to see consistency and a more developed route tree. Especially considering he had a case of the drops the year prior. I think he stays, proves himself, and ends up a late 1st rd pick. With him being able to receive NIL money it takes away some of the risk from him betting on himself. A first rd pick could mean a few extra mil.
I think he goes 1st or early 2nd.

Don’t blame him a bit. If anyone of us were in his shoes, we would probably do the same thing. He has given us three years, this one was special. Go make the money young man. Go Vols beat the Clemson Tigers and the whinny Dabo.

Of course not. He has a nagging injury.
So, you would be OK if Hyatt came back and didn't "quit" on the team, but suffered the same kind of injury next year? If anything, Tillman's injury probably cemented Hyatt's decision. We have plenty of talented WRs on the team right now that have played. I don't see his decision having any effect on the outcome.

I want you to seriously answer, if you were projected to get 1st or 2nd round money from the NFL (ie potential figure contract), would you say "no thanks, I will stay right here"? Think about it before you answer.

Deion Sanders says Hello...His move to Colorado and the publicity brought and bought to go there and Coach. Best moves yet for him and Colorado.

Hyatt would be crazy not to go...
Hate to see him go, but $$$ vs risking injury is a
"No Brainer"

This is Good for Tennessee and recruiting, putting players early into the Pros.

think is you risk injury just getting out of bed in the morning, but its what we're stuck with in college ball now

Yes. The risk of injury from getting out of bed and playing WR in a bowl game are equivalent. Solid analogy.

Good for Jalin. I’m happy for him. Strike while the iron is hot. He did everything right as a Vol. He had an unbelievable season. I’ve seen countless tales of guys coming back to school and having their stock drop.

Work on your route tree, get some more wiggle in and out of cuts, and he’ll be good. I could see a team like the Raiders or Chargers going after him since they lack deep speed.

I’m not worried if he does go, because we have so many good receivers returning. We got big Bru, Ramel Keyton(who I’m predicting has a breakout year), Squirrel white, Merrill, Kaleb Webb, Chas Nimrod, etc. need maybe a one or 2 from the portal but I feel good about the WRs
This. I think Keyton is the "Hyatt" of next year.

Risk of getting out of bed with mild injury 2-3%
Risk of playing football with season ending injury considerably higher. Risk of playing in a meaningless game that could affect a paycheck in months to come is still considerably higher.
I am not trying to write you off but look at what happen to Tillman this past year. Every player takes a risk on the football field much higher risk than a walk in the park

All except that "quitting" remark. I think everybody expected him to go pro, but were holding out some hope he would want to break the record. He has earned this and to call him a quitter is extremely disrespectful.

I missed that so good catch. Hyatt did NOT quit.
