But you can be a really good team and lose the game in the 1st quarter. We did it to everybody else we played, and it happened to us this time. I'll take it considering where we were the last 13 years.

There is a lot of football left. The guys on the post game show said we still have a great shot at making it and they can't see us dropping lower than 4-5 even this week.

I guess we will see.

Well yeah.... Taking guys from the portal is the only reason we come into this game 8-0. They are loaded and don't need anyone from the portal. We're taking mature players that might, or in our case, can make a difference. Georgia is so deep with maturity and depth that they don’t even look to the portal for any needs. What do you not understand about that?

Yeah, I heard them say that we could squeeze into the 4 slot. They were just being kind. We won't leap frog any other team that is undefeated and what hurts us is the way we lost today--a very ugly loss. Mich and Penn St still have to play, so one of those will drop. CLemson will probably run the table if they get past NDame tonight. And TCU only has to get past Texas to remain unbeaten. And if Bama makes a close game with Georgia in the title game, they would be looked at as well. A lot of teams would need to lose to give us a shot.

Like I said, a lot of football left. Anything can happen. Bammer never should have gotten the rematch against LSU and that idjut Miles in 2011, but all the cards fell in place with a lot of unexpected upsets. We don't need that level of luck, a notch down will do.

You do realize Bama has an over 75% shot to lose another game, TCU as well.

I think our offense will make some adjustments and will be OK for the rest of the year. On defense, did we substitute as freely as we did the last 2-3 games?

We need a solid defense to beat Georgia.
We need some studs like we had in the 90's. And a running back like Jamal Lewis.

Better to get exposed now then get exposed in the playoffs. (I hate getting exposed and losing) So we can learn we're we need improvement. What better team is there to show us where we lack than Georgia? Besides who wants the whole country laughing at us being in the title game not ready for the moment? Just a thought.
