Dogs of VolNation and other pets that are inferior to Dogs

I hate to bring down the mood of this thread but i need somewhere to lose it for a minute.

Earlier today i had to do the 3rd hardest thing i have ever done in my life and that was make the call to put my dog down. We know we made the right decision ahe was 13 hadnt eaten for a couple of days and hadnt had a good bowel movement in almost a month. The vet suspected there was a tumor there blocking that was stopping everything up. We know we made the right decision to put her down but it sucks losing something ive gotten so attached to.

Her name was Bella but we called her Ding. She was a rat terrier mix.

Hard to hear, as I've been there a few times. Try to remember how fortunate you are to have shared your time together.

As difficult as they are, these decisions are often the kindest gifts of relief you can give to your fur babies. Time will heal, but they will always hold your heart.

Sorry for your loss. My buddy has 2 rat terriers and they are great dogs. I know you miss her.

So sorry. I had to put my Springer down last November. She was only 8 months old and had an aggressive cancer that was all over her.

I know what you are feeling. Time will heal the wounds and you will remember all the good times

I just want to take a minute and thank everybody for their kind words.

However on to happier news we may have found a new dog. Meet Bachalorette #1 Harley. She is a chicuhua/beagle mix that is a year and a half old.

Sorry about the other dog. This one is a cutie.

Well things with Harley didnt quite workout.

However, meet well we havent given her a name yet (suggestions welcome) she is between 6 and 8 months she is a ra terrier mix (not sure with what). Her story is kind of sad she was found on the side of the road when she was a month or two old almost dead from heat exhaustion. Now its been less then 24hrs since we got her and she is already spoiled rotten.

Here's a few of Sam doing his favorite thing. Riding around with his head out the sunroof...
