Myke is 28 pounds. They say he was way underweight when I first got him. The vet also says he’s about perfect weight now.
He runs with me about 3 times a week.

I think its instinctual. The first time he messed on the floor after I brought him home as puppy, we both did that.

He is a Boerboel Mastiff. They are from South Africa. They were bred to protect cattle from lions, cheetahs, and poachers. He is 1.5 years old and weighs 145 lbs. He shouldn't get much taller but will put on another 40 to 50 lbs. I am trying to control his weight gain due to the potential for hip problems. We have done of lot of work socializing him and obedience training. He is really a great dog. He may be the smartest dog I have ever owned and I have had some really smart field trial Labs.
