Yesterday I talked to a friend, sounded like their cat was on the last leg. So weak, wasn’t eating. They took the cat to the vet today, thinking it was the end, turns out it was Covid and the cat is gonna be okay.

Our Old man finally lost his battle. We adopted him in 2007 at 1.5 years, before kids. We will miss him. So grateful for the extra time he toughed it out. And that kids were able to grow up around him.

So sorry. lost my bud of 14 years a couple months back. Still expecting him to peek out the window and be by door when I pull into the driveway.

Rough day, but trying to laugh at the good memories. Routine has helped.
And it was a great long run. He enjoyed his life after being a shelter pup.

I carried her into the pool to see how she would react to water. It was a completely traumatizing for her.
She is definitely not one of those "brave & fearless" Dachshunds I know and hear about.
