I carried her into the pool to see how she would react to water. It was a completely traumatizing for her.
She is definitely not one of the "brave & fearless" Dachshunds I know and hear about.

We keep wipes and a towel in the porch. Cocoa is used to it, being older, but Koda thought we were trying to kill him

Moved to Florida. Actually when the yard had to be resodded, we kept a bucket by door along with large old blanket and made a game of the cleaning process. Lots of treats in the walk pouch.

Our Old man finally lost his battle. We adopted him in 2007 at 1.5 years, before kids. We will miss him. So grateful for the extra time he toughed it out. And that kids were able to grow up around him.

I was heating up Brats in the air fryer a few minutes ago. Four Brats so I was getting ready to put four buns in the air fryer to heat them a little.
My office phone rang so I went to answer it and when I got back to the kitchen there was one bun missing.
