Cat Takes Flying Leap Into Hanging Christmas Tree

Let me know what you find out because the cat goes behind it and the dog tries as well. The tree has been down 3 times and we are running out of angels for the topper. To think I laughed at wife when she bought multiples to switch out from year to year during an after Christmas Sale. Well back to the original one.

Is your tree in a corner? Two eyebolts and some wire are calling your name...

Well, a stray showed up at @SumSoonerChick house last night and decided to adopt us. She's been out and about for some time, not malnourished, but hasn't seen a bath in several months. Super friendly dog.

We've got notifications out for an owner, but it's not looking like anyone will claim her. Until that time, she's got a home here and we're calling her "Gypsy."

Post first bath (she needed it BADLY) and drying off in the sun room. Flirt has taken an active interest in this new animal in the house. Funny thing is Flirt has never been afraid of dogs. Even with Tara being the huge beast of a dog, Flirt went right up to her and claimed her as "her dog."

But... with an unknown dog, we're taking it slow. So far so good though and Gypsy had the prime opportunity to eat her a few minutes ago. But more curious than anything.

@Grand Vol, How is Gypsy getting along?

Awesome! She has her first vet appointment tomorrow and @SumSoonerChick took her on a house tour the other day while I was still at work.

After she gets checked out, we'll slowly get her used to being with the other pets. Flirt cat seems okay with the idea... of course, she likes all dogs. Hermes cat (SSC's little orange terror) will be a challenge for sure. But she and Tara are getting along. Unfortunately, Tara can't really play like she used to be able to do, but still enjoys the company.

I bet she does. That’s awesome for Tara to have the company. Glad it’s working out.
