He was a damn good dog. Let the kids and grandkids crawl over him. Pull his ears, tail and stick their hands in his mouth. He just took it and actually enjoyed the attention

He is buried next to his dad. I’m sure they are both running and playing. Chasing squirrels and hiding somebody’s socks. Lol

IMO, Golden retrievers are hands down the best family pet. Great personality and super with kids.

They have never met a stranger and simply love being around their family.
