My old boy is pretty sick. We spent New Years Eve in the dog ER.
For those of you that made the call to put your dog down, when do you make that call?

For us it was when our girl stopped eating. She quit eating her dog food and for the last 2 weeks of her life she got chicken nuggets from BK twice a day. One morning when she wouldnt eat her nuggets we knew it was time and took her. I'm not gonna lie I cried like a baby while we were there and after words

Well. I got an appointment for Saturday morning to take my dog to the vet. To see what she says. I’m thinking she will tell me it’s time. If she does. I’ll wait a few days and take him on one last great ride in the truck since he loves to ride in the front seat. So here is to Saturday

That sucks man..... all you can do is know you gave him a really good life and remember the joy he brought to you..... dogs are so awesome.... I'm sorry man

So we went to the vet this morning. On the way. I stopped at an ole general store for bologna egg and cheese with some hash rounds. He had about half my hash rounds. My wife wasn’t happy about that. But anyway. Vet said it’s not time. Gave him a steroid shot and some medication. Here is to more great times together
