Donald Trump Is Putin's Man

He pushed back on the idiots on the left screaming it was “an act of war”.
No, Donald Trump was pushing back against his own Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and his own Attorney General, William Barr, who had both publicly announced their conclusions that Russia was responsible for the SolarWinds hack.

That had nothing to do with partisan politics. That had to do with Donald Trump carrying water for Vladimir Putin. Why did Trump do that? It was weird.

The left also pushed the lie about Russian hookers pissing on Donnie.
This had nothing to do with the left.

Mike Pompeo and William Barr are both veteran Republicans. Mike Pompeo left a seat in the Republican Party House to become Trump's Secretary of State. Pompeo even campaigned for Trump (twice!). They both concluded that Russia was responsible for the SolarWinds hack. Donald Trump publicly sided with Vladimir Putin's denial over their professional assessment. Why did he do that?

It seems like they forgot who their boss was. Did Trump approve of their messages? Apparently not.

Maybe because they didn’t follow the chain of command? The Secretary of State and AG report to the POTUS. Even those that are lame ducks.

Durbin isn’t a veteran Republican. He called it an act of war.

Why is Newsweek running a story about what a former POTUS said almost 2 years ago? No need to answer. We all know why.

Are you saying that both the Secretary of State and the Attorney General should have lied to the American people and said that China was responsible for the SolarWinds hack, even if the intel conclusively proved it was Russia, because that was what the President wanted them to do?

Really?

So, you think that Pompeo and Barr should have said whatever Trump wanted them to say, even if it wasn't true?

What you are advocating for isn't even party over country ... it's one person over country. That is how dictatorships are formed.

Pompeo and Barr are getting very rich selling books to Democrats feeding their TDS. What was Trump going to do to them in his last month in office? They expertly stirred up the left and are now making generational money. That wasn’t happening with their Executive Branch salaries.

Really?

They should have shut their mouths and left the public commentary to their boss.

Another leftist talking point. A “dictatorship” being formed. By a lame duck POTUS.

Get real. We are seeing a dictator right in front of our very eyes.

At the very least, some of these posts of yours are cultish in nature.

Ironic post.

I actually voted for a 3rd party in 2016. I’m not an idiot. I can see when the Dems will do anything to put their party affiliation ahead of the Republic.

Sorry. Not sorry that your cult leader Hillary failed in that one.

Donald Trump should not have publicly sided with Vladimir Putin's denial. Trump's response didn't have to be either one extreme or the other. Trump didn't have to hand Putin a free pass, but he did.
I guess you’re ok with Sloppy Joe calling half of America fascists though eh?

Members from both political party's are calling members from the other side of the aisle either "fascists" or "semi-fascists" right now. I'm not convinced any of them even know what a fascist is. They just know it's something that Adolf Hitler was, so it makes for a good insult and keeps them from having to think of something on their own. It's intellectual laziness.

Back to Trump : He carried water for Putin. It was disgusting.

The Republican Party is a cult personality.

In this very thread, you have stated that Mike Pompeo and William Barr should have remained quiet over who was responsible for the SolarWinds attack, just because their conclusions contradicted Donald Trump. That is how a cult of personality member would think. The leader must never be challenged. Whatever the leader believes, is what everyone else should believe, even when they know the leader is wrong.

Who says they shouldn’t challenge their boss? They went rogue telling their version to the leftist media right after the breach was uncovered. They were short timers with the administration winding down and they had their books to promote.

All this TDS because Trump said something to the media almost 2 years ago. Leftists need to keep deflecting. They put a train wreck into the Oval Office.

Distort the facts (pretend like MicroSoft has Putin convicted) and keep twisting the narrative to push their agenda (that Trump is controlled by Russia).
This sentence is weird as hell.

Microsoft hasn't said a word about Donald Trump being under Russian control. They have simply cited Nobelium as the actor responsible for the SolarWinds hack, and Nobelium is known to be a Russian-based hacking group under the direction of Russian intelligence. Microsoft's only evident agenda is to identify the people responsible for this massive cybersecurity breach, and then take steps to keep it from happening again. That doesn't involve an anti-Trump narrative or agenda.

This only concerns Trump at all, because he took the unusual step of publicly siding with Vladimir Putin over his own Secretary of State, concerning Russian involvement, and that was very strange. I think you are sensitive to it, in part, because you don't understand it either.

They went rogue? WTF?

They expressed the belief that a Russian-based hacking group under the control of Russian intelligence was responsible for the SolarWinds attack, and that is exactly what Nobelium is. That isn't going rogue. That is publicly disclosing an accurate professional assessment.

This has nothing to with "TDS". Trump did side with Putin. Why?

The entire narrative has been about what was said to the media immediately after a nearly year long breach was discovered. The underlings didn’t need to be making any statements. Yes. TDS. Comments made by POTUS nearly 2 years ago. Biden raises that bar every time he’s trotted out to a mic to read his script.

MicroSoft has a division that investigates foreign espionage and knows how the Russian GOVERNMENT was involved? Does the CIA report to Redmond?

Trump’s Secretary of State needed to insert himself into the mix to sell books. Barr as well. He also had some explaining to do on how the FBI, under his watch, failed to discover the year-long breach.

I don't think you understand how this breach happened. You couldn't.

SolarWinds: How Russian spies hacked the Justice, State, Treasury, Energy and Commerce Departments

You have to give the Russians some credit here. This really was quite ingenious. They understand that Americans blindly trust that our software updates don't include hacked code.

Russian spies identified network management software from a company called SolarWinds. The spies installed malware into an update for a SolarWinds product. When that malware went out to between 16,000 to 18,000 organizations around the world, so did the malware.

Microsoft's President, Brad Smith, and Kevin Mandia of FireEye, discuss it in the above link.
