Its gotten to the point of you splitting hairs to fit your agenda Joe. This debacle has gone on long enough. You've been exposed, and while many of us have the same political views as you, you've chosen an issue to argue and tried to encompass the entire collapse of a nation. That's precisely the reason why Republicans have fallen on their faces in the National Election. Its conservatives like you that argue towards their own agenda instead of uniting around a common more achievable goal that services the country as a whole. Instead, you'd rather spend your time debating on these types of issues and putting out the doomsday theories.

I have neither the inclination or concern to continue down that path. If you want to save America, find something that's actually of substance and get on board with fighting towards the greater good. Arguing over a gay in a fox hole next to you, when he/she has been doing so privately for quite some time, is not one of those issues. Pick something that will have a greater impact, or quite frankly, pack up your crap and get the hell outta the country. A country in which, you supposedly served.

You're the first Ive seen a long while to degrade this nation after serving it by using God, Aggie jokes, and closet homophobia as means to prove a point.

typical liberal blather. unite around a common goal and don't worry about your beliefs or morals.

If you've changed your beliefs or lower your standards that's your decision but to force your lack of standards on a group that has defended this country for years, is pretty arrogant. but libs are pretty arrogant, so you fit the bill.

I'm certain everyone is aware of my political views. The difference between you and I is that I can see when the party is spinning its wheels and wasting time and money on personal agenda based pissing contest. Maybe if I was as enlightened as you are on the whole scheme of things, I would have a higher level of understanding. Tell me, when do you mouth breathers meet up and talk about guns and stuff? I don't understand why people are arguing with joe about this, really.

An argument involves premises and conclusions. Joe has collapsed the two, reasoning that he is right because he is right. Arguing with him is by definition a waste of time.

How is repealing DADT preferential? It makes straight and gay equal. During DADT straight soldiers were getting preferential treatment by not having to be quiet about their relationships.

I was just reading this thread and wanted to point out some flaws in this post.

Baron Von Steuben was openly gay and played a huge role in us beating the British. This would mean that god sent a gay guy to help America get its start.

We never defeated the English, Wellington never surrendered, he folded his arms, withdrew from the field of battle and said there are other ways to defeat you and the US national debt seems to substantuate his claims.

We now have such debt that it seems a remote possiblility that even our granchildren will be able to pay it off.

How many times has the US been betrayed by homosexuals in terms of intelligence breaches? Many, including the latest, Manning.
