I'm disappointed like you all are, but we'll move on.

Tee Martin won a Title for our beloved VOLS. He's represented UT extremely well. He wanted to be here 2-3 years ago (according to Ainge) and couldn't get a call back. He did what he felt was best for his family. As VOLS, we don't throw one of our own to the curb over a personal and professional decision. He's STILL a VFL. That's all. GBO!

Couldn't agree more. Show some class, people. At the end of the day, it's a business decision. Still got forever love for Tee Martin!

Yep too bad i have a lot more hate for the person he coaches under. He knows the situation Tenn is in right now, guess he thinks USC is where he belongs.

I'll admit this hurts very badly and a million times worse that Tee is staying with Kiffin but on the bright side when Kiffin and his whole staff get canned next year maybe Tee can come home then. Either way i wish Tee nothing but luck and feel lucky that he was and always will be a VFL! Good luck Tee!

I am more disappointed that he is staying with LK than him not coming back to UT. It is what it is, though. Good luck in your future, Tee.

I'm sorry, but being a former player doesn't necessarily make one a VFL. If you don't think enough of your alma mater to come and help them when THEY NEED YOU, you're not a VFL. You're a former player. That's where it ends.

He says it's a business decision. Well it's one hell of a decision to not only refuse to help your alma mater, but to willfully funk us over. How is that? Cause his job is snatching the best players in our own back yard. Recruiting-wise, he chose to continue to compete AGAINST us...to continue to hurt us, instead of helping.

VFL? Hardly. He turned that card in today. I honestly don't care if I ever hear his name again.

He was going to get paid to give back to the university that made him who he is. He could have really helped turn us around, and was probably going to make more money doing it. Instead he says no and turns his back on us after coming all the way across the country and getting our hopes up..

People can say whatever they want about him, IMO. If you don't think you're going to take the job you don't meet in Knoxville and don't let it get so public.

I suspect it had as much to do with the terms of his current contract than any other business factors. Regardless, he had to make the best decision for him and his family and we all should continue to wish him the best of luck and success.

I'm listening to Ainge take up for him, saying it's a business decision. He needs to hear what Jay Graham said. He said he'd do it all over again. Why? Cause when his alma mater needed him, he didn't have to think about it twice.

Jay is a Vol for Life. Tee Martin, as of today....is just a former player. He will be back on the recruiting trail, continuing to steal talent from us in our own state. How 'bout them apples? Saying it's just business, is like working for an insurance firm that is actively trying to screw your parents out of a legit claim when their house is leveled by a tornado. They plead with you for help, and your reply is...sorry folks, it's a business decision.

Tee needs to make the right decision for his career, and that likely doesn't involve walking into the cluster on the Hill right now. It's going to be a mess. Had our administration bothered to have a successful coaching search, then Tee would be one of the first ones to step up - I have no doubt. But as it is, he would be walking into a less than ideal situation.

Tee may just be left coast guy and likes it there. Wife may not have wanted to move again in 1 year. I'm sure the deal with Dooley really pissed him off last year. Maybe he sees the problems with our AD and just does not want to deal with it. Maybe USC made him a better offer. Who knows.
