SIAP...but on the Big Spur, apparently Clowney didn't play against UK because 'he didn't feel like it'. If true, wow. I'm sure that isn't sitting well with other teammates.

If this is true, we WILL beat USC.

Assuming this team beats anyone is absurd.

They took a big step yesterday but this team can't assume any game is a win.

He is scared to death of Tiny and is either resting up for him or pulling the ole settin up for, "I'm too sore to play coach."

I know what I would do if I was Spurrier. I would bench his ass and announce it at your weekly press conference too.

If he wants to save himself for the Pro's and he can't be bothered to try to help his teammates have a chance at a really good season, then screw him over for his big future in the NFL.

NFL GM's notice stuff like this as well as the fact that he hasn't really did anything at all this year. The NFL won't put up with that crap and neither should Spurrier.

Come on guys read other sites. Clowny was nagged by injury and missed practice all week. Everyone thought he would play but on game day he told his DC he didn't think he could go. This did piss spurrier off but it is not like he just showed up and said I don't feel like it

Spurrier won't do anything to his stars, how many chances did Garcia get? Only reason he finally got into trouble was he showed up drunk at a function that the University Prez's wife was putting on.

He called and asked J. Lewis for advice.

Dismissing Clowney is silly. The Tennessee game is his chance to up his draft status. This is one game where he wants to add to his highlight reel.

With that being said, I hope Tiny breaks him!

I don't have a clue really but that sounds exactly like he meant "I don't feel like it"

I agree. I can easily see Clowney get passed by for the #1 draft pick I am sure he thinks he is. Lack of motivation is a big deal with the NFL. When they pay you #1 pick money, they expect 100% every play. Doesn't seem like Clowney is driven to do that. He has had moments his whole career where he looks great one game and then fades away the next game.

Has nothing to do with us beating them or not beating them.
