Say what you want I'd take him in Orange. He's a competitor, at least he wants the ball and goes and gets it.

Yeah, but competitor doesn't mean go on a self serving attention seeking tirade on the sideline either. He's getting paid a lot of money to be a professional, act like one.

What your numbers don't show is how the attitude of the team has changed. Yeah, we're still losing, but we're not slinking off the field with our tails between our legs. We're not giving up and dying. And when we do get deflated, we suck it up and come back fighting.

Not everything can be quantified.

We're outmanned and outgunned, and that can't be fixed, at least not this year. But we have a ton more heart and fight, and when we get new blood in, that's going to show in the W-L record.

I also don't remember Dooley having an incoming #2 recruiting class either.

Bryant has talent, but probably shouldn't be yelling at and mouthing off to a future HoF TE and arguably one of the best TE's in the history of the game. I may be a little biased since he's a Vol, but it's the principle of the matter. Would be like Bryant mouthing off to Jerry Rice or something. And I say this as a Cowboy hater, but gotta respect Witten.

I agree. Although,I think Dooley handled it fairly well. It is funny how much hatred is on this board for Dooley. He was not a good head coach, but he was/is a good person. Get over it folks. I'm not going to get into a debate over Dooley again, but I will have to respectfully disagree with the good person part. My opinion means no more than anyone else's, and I won't argue to change yours.

The current players, the past players, the high school coaches, and the folks who worked around the athletic department have all shared examples of what an arse he was.

Maybe he's good to his own family, but wasn't a nice, good person to those he interacted with as the football coach while at UT.

He has moved on and so should we.

Guys, believe me or not, but I am good friends with someone that is actually in that video and he told me exactly what Dooley said.
If you look closely and read his lips, he is saying,"Dez, I am having your car towed at this very moment."
