Dooley asked Wes Brown to leave facilities...

All of these criticisms of Dooley now....where were you when it was happening...even before it happened....there were lots of indicators, red flags, metrics if you will....lots...but all the things that are the butt of a joke now were lauded as innovative, brilliant, great coaching, etc when he was doing them...why were there so many ardent defenders of Dooley...to the extent to demeaning anyone who would merely question in an objective manner his actions.....comments....anyone...?

At what point do you begin to question your judgment, your ability to analyze facts, data, actions and make sound decisions....especially in light of the fact that much the same had happened with Kiffin...

When he visited in 2010 per an article on Volquest. Apparently VFL was just a catch phrase for Dooley. What a tool.

I'm so thankful to have a coach now who lives it and knows what it means to be a VOL!

Dooley didn't specifically ask Wes Brown to leave the complex. The following link explains what really happened.

Angst with access: Confusion at UT over who is allowed, and when, at practices » GoVolsXtra

Next up: Dooley responsible Japan's earthquake and tsunami.

For me, any "confidence" that I had in his ability to do the job died in Commonwealth stadium on November of 2011.

Wes and his family sat behind me during the NC ST game last year. Let's just say he was no fan of Dooley...just like the rest of us.

You know in retro spec pipe dream vision I really do not even think Gruden could have brought the UT family together like Butch has.

100% agree. At this point, I would not change coaches with ANYONE in the US.

Butch gets Tennessee, and to me, that's invaluable. :hi:

Cool story bro, continue with your stupidity

So, if anyone disagrees with you, they are stupid. I get it.
Look, I'm sorry that your boy Dooley stunk the joint up and fell flat on his face, but that's no need to lash out at the "stupid" people that actually saw him for what he was.

The girl/guy is great while you're dating her/him. But as soon as you break up, she's/he's scum.

No, the people that believe anything posted on a message board that fits there agenda despite the absence of facts for said accusations like yourself are morons. I have not said anything positive about Dooley, but am not going to run around with some message board fodder like it is fact.

Careful there, buddy.
You could be dancing very closely to some vacation time.

C'mon! Did ANYONE actually believe Gruden was going to come here? He toyed with Hart, asked half again what it was worth for himself AND assistants. Sure, he'd come for that, and sky out laughing all the way to the bank if he didn't turn the program around. Go back to TV with panel van full of cash he wouldn't have had otherwise.

So, what you are saying is that if something is not reported in the media, then it is not true?

I'm not sure how Gruden got into this discussion outside of being thrown out there as a desperation attempt at a blow.
The original topic was Dooley and the stories surrounding his time here.

We have enough evidence to know that Dooley was a micromanaging douche.

I agree with this and I'm not a Dooley apologist but it's past time to move on. Like it or not Dooley did what he was hired to do. I don't think anyone in the program thought they were making a home run hire. They wanted someone to run a clean program and keep us out of trouble for a while and he did that. The hire sucked but we got what we paid for.

Really showing off your sub 60 IQ there, as nowhere in my post did I say that. You were the one wanting an article to dispute the fact to begin with

Could you post the article that disproves the attempt to tow Eric Berry's car?

Obviously there is more that goes on beyond the scene that the media either does not know or chooses not to report on, but to parade something around as fact because some anonymous message board poster claims so takes stupid to a whole new level. Could it be true? Yes, but it could just as easily not be true as there are no facts either way proving this to have occurred or not occurred

I don't entirely disagree with the premise, but if he had done what he was "hired to do" he would still be here. I don't think Mike Hamilton can grab his butt with both hands.

I don't think we got 2 mill per year of work out of Dooley.
