No respect earned at this point. He has put something off that should have been done at least a month ago and for what? Just so we could possibly make some lower tier bowl that most fans and players didn't want to begin with.

Only way he'll get my respect is if he has his man now.. If at this point we're trying to outbid someone for a coach, then i wish he'd just hop in the U-haul with Dooley and Sal...

The ONLY way you bench him, is if you give the reigns to Worley, and let him take 100% of the 1st team snaps during the week. That's the only way you can do it.

Hart is the reason Tennessee got embarrassed last night. He did nothing to even address the Dooley situation when it was becoming a huge distraction for the whole team. At this point I have very little faith in Hart to get Tennessee a top flight coach. I hope I am wrong!

I sound like a hypocrite because I've been bashing him and hating on him here just as much as anyone else, but I watched his press conference for when he got hired and you can tell that he really wanted to be here and that he had passion for Tennessee. It's time for him to go and I won't be sad to see him leave because he is the worst coach in UT history, but he was just a guy who was WAY out of his league when he came to the SEC. Goodbye Dooley and I hope you get an assistant coaching job somewhere next year even though that $5 million buyout will let you live comfortable.

Let's face it... It just hurts to be a Tennessee fan...... Hopefully Hart will start the healing process today....

I'm afraid you're right. It seems he has the same uncanny ability to make the wrong decision at the wrong time all the time. Just a few a born with this ability-Dooley got a double dose.

There's a difference in having passion and wanting to win...and winning. Dooley has the motivation but no results to show for it.

Again, what could have Hart done to make the results any different on the field?? Nothing is the only answer, because we can speculate the team might have played better knowing Dooley would have been gone, but we might have laid down against everyone too. It's just not a good situation, when you have a lame duck coach, but Hart just let the situation play out, and Dooley is out of a job officially today.
